Hi,

“All he’s been doing since we got back was complaining.”

Is the structure ‘was complaining’ correct?

I think that I could also use the sentence below, but I wanted to emphasize the length of his intense complaining by using the present perfect continuous tense.

“All he’s done since we got back was complain.”
