all day long

Suppose, I say, "I worked all day long". Does this mean, "I worked for 24 hours"?. Because we know that we have 24 hours a day.

Please help me with this.

No, but it's an interesting idea. It means I worked hard all day (and not all night as well) without taking any/many breaks.
