All day and every day

Is "all day" the same as "every day"? And can they use in place of each other?

My another question is centered on tow sentences l read in a book: "my gloves are at home" and "my mom is home". When do we use the preposition "at" before "home"? Can we say "my mom is at home" or "my gloves are home"?

1. No. "All day" means all of a single day. "Every day" means multiple days.

2. When talking about people or things, use "at" to indicate where they are if you are not with them. "My mom is at home", "my gloves are at home".
