"All an artist can ever give the world is how they interpret those 12 notes abd tell their story"
The above is what I came across on Facebook today.
I wonder how an article 'a' and a singular noun follows 'all'. As I know, 'All' determines plural nouns only when they indicates people such as 'all people, all the people'. But it is used with and as a singular noun, which refers to non human thing, like in 'all that glitters us not gold'.
I want to know the usage of 'all' as a adjective and a pronoun.
As always many thanks teacher.

You need to parse the sentence as follows.
All (that an artist can ever give the world) is (how they interpret those 12 notes and tell their story).
