Adding to what has already been said, the word "alienate" is not an adjective. Rather it's a verb. When someone is "alienated", it could be "by" or "from" something. Without a tangible context, I'd say both can be used. Aliented can be used as adjective but only in past participl

You've got good advice in the above. If you don't want to listen to it, why do you post? This should be OK, as mentioned by others:

He alienated himself from the rest of the class due to his behavior.

By would work in different constructions:

He managed to alienate his class by his behavior.

I agree with 'from'.

Sorry for my terrible mistake... Yes, you are right, it is a verb. I was confused with another form of alienate when looking it up. What I wanted to say is that in this construction from has to be used. In other constructions by can be used, depending on the context.... Again, sorry
