algae

Algae is invading the shores of Beijing. Officials have allocated funds to clean up the shores before the Olympics. Elsewhere in China such as TsingTao, algea bloom is not at all unheard of.

1. Are there any mistakes?

2 What's the meaning of at all unheard of, if it makes sense? Does it imply that algea outbreak affects other cities in China as well?

Thanks

This in a nutshell means it had happened many times before in the past, to some degree, it even infers common reoccurance
