Alexander Pope: Essay on man

hi, i need help with this, i don't understand and i don't get any point, i whant to know what Alexander Pope whant to tell ? i need someone who can analyze :

from "ESSAY ON MAN" By Alexander Pope (1688-1744).

Whatever is, is right:
All Nature is but Art, unknown to thee;
All chance, direction, which thou canst not see
All discord, harmony not understood,
All partial evil, universal good:
And, spite of pride, in erring reason's spite,
One truth is clear, whatever is, is right.
Know then thyself, presume note good to scan;
the proper study of Mankind is man

It's really hard to understand the poem if you have a line incorrect. Here are the correct last 2 lines:

First, tell us what you are thinking when you read this poem. What images come to mind? The words are common and ordinary, but they ask that you think and contemplate.
Good poetry is deeper than the paper the words are written on and requires some effort on the part of the readerr.

I think this is about human beings can find scientific evidence of what happens in nature.
