alarming/signal situations/moments

Hi!

I'm looking for a similar expression that fits in the following context. Can you please read it and see if you can think of something?

Therefore, managers have to announce to the negotiating team key goals which are to be realized, criteria on the basis of which negotiators have to value possible solutions, triggers or alarm states/situations/moments when to withdraw from negotiation, which is the best alternative to clinching the supposed deal.

I'm also ineterested whether it can be said to withdraw from negotiation? Or step out from negotiation? Or any other verb apart from end or conclude? My collocation dictionaries do not provide additional solutions.

Thank you in advance

Thanks Pieanne for your corrections. Critical moments seems fine to me. Is withdraw from negotiation OK?

I know it's not THE solution, relaxEmotion: smile

Anyway it's better than mine, and you know there are always better solutions.

Not really. Emotion: smile It should be "I don't know whether/if I'm allowed etc..." or "I didn't know I was allowed to do that"/ "I didn't know
