Air-popped popcorn

As you can see I have problems with cross-cultural diffrences:)
There are no air-popped popcorns in my country. And that's why I have to ask somebody who has seen or eaten them what are they? What does air-popped mean ?
Thank you

I am also from a very different culture, and not so familiar with these PRODUCTS! Air-popped means that the pop corns are made/done by air, in stead of putting them on the cooker, I guess. I know that there are some pop corn packages that are prepared in the microwave.

  • The air in the package gets warm and so the package grows in size, till it gets like a baloon, and after a few minutes, it's ready to eat.
  • I know, you already know about this, but I can't think of anything else.

I do not popcorn at all, but I've prepared this for my husband. However, I don't think that it's the one you are looking for!
