Air my complaints???

Hi,

I would like to know if I can use this expression: "air my complaints" in a letter of complaint, for example, "I am writing to air my complaints about the very poor service that I received at your restaurant".

Thanks,

Agi

Hi Agi, The idea of airing something means to express it to the public. If you are writing to the manager of the restaurant, you are simply expressing or conveying your complains.
