air conditioner

I stayed home with my air conditioner on.

The soliders made fun the priest. The captain told me to go to Rome, Sicily or Naple which were the centres of culture and civilization. But the priest suggested that I went to his hometown. His town was nothing except peasants. It was colder than here. The major raised his thumb and his fingers, making a name to each of them.

Arrived by plane, I walked off the airport and straighted to the hotel. I was ordered some French food, wondering where the black neighborhood would sell it.

Are they OK?

Thank you

They are fine. Thank you Clive.

I mean that the major gave each name to his thumb and his fingers.

I mean that he ordered his French food at the hotel, wondering where the black neighborhood would sell it.

By the way, it is Animal Farm that you think on the last post.

Once again, thank you.

It's not clear where you actually chose to go. Did you go to the peasant filled hometown? Was the major already at the hometown? That is what it sounds like.

Did you mean the major held up one of his hands and said 'my thumb is called Fred, my index finger is called Charles, the middle finger is called Mary, the ring finger is called John and the little finger is called Thomas' Or did he
