Aid of technology

The table shows the amount of money given in aid of technology of developing countries by charities in the US, EU and other countries from 2006 to 2010.



The table illustrates the data on how much money was donated for technology aid of developing nations from 2006 to 2010.

Regarding the US, its donation in the first year of the given period was worth $9.7 billion. The figure later kept rising considerably and then, by 2010, the number had reached $22.7 million. Similarly, EU countries witnessed the same pattern as there was also an increase in the amount of money given to aid of technology, from $3.3 billion in 2006 to $4 billion in 2010, but it was growing more slightly.

On the other hand, the financial help of other countries experienced an upward trend which was from $2.7 billion in 2006 to $3.3 billion in 2010 in spite of a drop of $2.6 in 2019. On the whole, the total amount of money that all countries mentioned above gave climbed throughout the years. Besides, 2010 was the year that the aid was supported the most money while 2016 was opposite.

Overall, the budget for the technology aid was on the increase during the period. Moreover, the US was the leader country in giving financial support whereas countries except for EU ones and the US donated the least money.
