Agriculture and humans' life

In spite of the advances made in agriculture, many people around the world still go hungry. Why is this case? What can be done about this problem?

It seems true that even though many improvements have been being made in agriculture, a lot of people all over the world still have starving life. This essay will analyse several causes of this problem and suggest possible solutions that governments and individuals are able to take to reduce the phenomenon.

There are a number of reasons why enhancements in agriculture cannot bring a affluent life for local people. First and foremost, it is quite evident that political issues have pressure on developing economy. For a typical instance, bigger countries constrain and exploit weaker countries. To my knowledge about world politics today, even though humans turned on a new leaf but Latin America countries are still dependent on America and its “Backyard” which is one of the reasons why these countries sue the poverty notwithstanding prosperous nature resources suitable for boosting agriculture. Besides, in many developing countries, embezzlement in government systems is the popular root. What is more, it is indisputable that climate changes affect negatively to farming. Last but not least, it is widely acknowledged that sudden depressions in economy are able to lead to sharp decrease in production capacity.

Regarding how to minimize this issue, people put forwards various suggestions. The first solution that can be seen by every person is that governments need to suppose policies to be absolutely independent on powerful countries and purge the state apparatus, which means the politic problems will be solved with and open way for agriculture go further. Taking climate changes into consideration, another measure which is protecting the environment by the way applying green products and reducing the amount of chemical poison used in agriculture need to be performed. The last but very crucial method, due to the root of economic depression is imbalance between supply and demand, is that taking production into the law of supply and demand. Thirty-second U.S president, Franklin Roosevelt, for example, to deal with The Great Depression, suggested the agricultural policies to which he encouraged farmers to decline culturing and demonetize in the case overcoming plans. As a result, poverty will be diminished and individuals’ life is going to be improved.

To conclude, it goes without saying that agriculture has many accomplishes recently but many individuals in different countries still go hungry. The causes are multiple, range from political issues to climate changes and economy but possible solutions such as being completely independent countries, revolutionizing government system, protecting environment and following the law of supply and demand should be taken as soon as possible to minimize the phenomenon.
