Agreement with "one".

Which of these is/are acceptable?

1. One shouldn’t speak with their mouth full.
2. One shouldn’t speak with his or her mouth full.
3. One shouldn’t speak with his/her mouth full.
4. One shouldn’t speak with one's mouth full.

They are all acceptable in one setting or another, but only 4 is technically correct in my opinion.

1 is fine for any but the most formal settings.
I find 2 and (especially) 3 awkward.

What's inelegant about the others?

Style tend to be a very subjective matter.
The mixture of the impersonal pronoun 'one' with personal pronouns is unpleasing to many educated native speakers, in my opinion.
