Agreement with one

Hi,

1.'... .It was one of the things which upset...'

2.'One of the great cliches which runs throught the entertainmetn industry is...'

3.'...one of the sideways which bisect...'

4.'Warwick is one of the universities which has such unified...'

5.'Lawrance is one of those writers who either excite you or...'

6.'I'm one of those who has been blessed...'

I have problems deciding with which word the verb agrees as it seems from the above examples that one can't elicit a consistent rule.

Please help me with detailed explanation if possible.

P.S. All the examples are from Collins Cobuild Dictionary.

Thanks.
