Hi!
I was taught that the indefinite article "each" is always singular.
But somehow I came across this sentence.
The nouns 'student' and 'nephew' each have the determiner. (This is from a grammar book explaining about subject-verb agreement.)
Could you please help me analyze the sentence? Is it correct?

The sentence is fine if there is a reason for the before determiner. A is the first thing that comes to my mind. Another example of each used in a similar way: Give the boys 10 euros each.
