Agreement

Again, i have problems with concord.

i found this question in my secondary book i used years back.

1. Nobody will object to the proprosal, will (he. they).

The answer given by my teacher was "they" and even though i quite agree with the answer now but i m puzzled that shouldn;t nobody be used in the singular context.

Then again i saw another book with such rule stating that "one of those" should be used with plural verb, is that true.

eg: He is one of those who like an outdoor life. (Shouldn't "he" be the subject in this sentence like one of the boys was ill)?
