Agreed or accepted?

Hello!

Could you please tell me if this message is correct?

"This is just to let you know that I will be off until....

X has kindly agreed to replace me."

Should I say "to replace me during this time?"

Thank you!

That's OK. Th only concern I have is with the word 'replace'. It sounds like he will do your complete job, as well as his own complete job.
