What does agile mean in the following sentence?

Energy plc is an agile and flexible business; ; our people work together to produce great outcomes for our customers.

The Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary gives two definitions:

1. able to move quickly and easily: a strong and agile athlete

2. able to think quickly and in an intelligent way: an agile mind/brain

Which of the definitions applies to the sentence?
