I would add that of the terms Mr. Micawber lists, "tweens," "teenagers" and "centenarians" are nouns that refer to the people. For the others, you need to say "people in their twenties," etc.

Note that the . . . . . genarian words are not commonly or casually used.

Commonly used expressions include youths, young adults, middle-aged people, seniors, senior citizens.
