Age

Hi,

How do we call an infant's age who is less than a month old?

Can we say it this way?: My son is just 10 days old.

Regards,

Iman

You would not give a baby's age in days. " 10 days old would be 1 week old.

You would not give a baby's age in days. If it's less than one month old, you'd give his age in weeks, or you'd say "he's less than a month old" or "he's newborn" or "he's just been born." 10 days old would be 1 week old.

I see nothing wrong with that.
I remember a hugely popular song from the 50's, The Naughty Lady From Shady Lane, in which the punch line was "And she's only nine days old!"

You certainly can give a baby's age in days and later on in weeks.

'She's five days old'; 'She's six weeks old'; 'She's two months old.'
