Assume I know I can do my homework after work today. Do these examples imply the same meaning?
I'm busy working now. After work, I can do my homework. (The time after work is in the future, can "can" really be used here? I've no problem with "I can do my homework after work" as "can" is used to state present ability)
I'm busy working now. After work, I will be able to do my homework.
Or should they be written as "I can/will be able to do my homework after work"?
Thanks.
