after-school activities

Hi,

Can you help me?

I want to write to my friend about the after-school activities.

I found a phrase on the internet "activity class". Is it correct English if I use this phrase in my sentence?

- We have a lot of activity classes after school and our activity class teachers are very friendly.

Thank you a lot!

If they are after school, they are not really classes. I'd just write 'after-school activities'.
