It's a bit gruesome and ceremonious for everyday use. It sounds like something a Roman gladiator might say to his Christian love interest as she is being eaten by lions.

Sentence :

I would give up any part of myself to lessen your afflictions.

The grammar is good, but less dramatically you'd say I'd do anything to lessen your pain.
