"Affected"

Hello

Can I use "affected" with items ? For example:

Those devices are affected by this issue.

Or, is it better to use "concern" ?

This issue concerns those devices.

Thank you very much.

In my opinion "concern" is to soft so I've used "affected" to show that this issue is important, but my colleague thinks it's not correct.
