Affect or Effect
Could someone help me figure out what to use for these sentences, should I use affect or effect?
These sentences are from an essay on anti tobacco that I am writing.
Society today considers smoking as an acceptable thing to do with friends and relatives, when they should think of the negative affects of tobacco use.
Health problems caused by smoking also effect women.
Another affect of tobacco use is how it affects an individual’s quality of life.
Which have the same affects to the human body as illegal drugs.

Hello Dan Your only correct use is 'how it affects', unfortunately. Use 'effect' for the noun in these examples, and 'affect' for the verb. 'Effect on the human body', rather than 'to'.
