Aerobic fermentation

I couldn't really find a definition online for this phrase , can someone please tell me what it means?

Top answer

It must mean fermentation in the presence of air (specifically, oxygen). There are presumably biochemical differences between aerobic fermentation and the opposite, which would be anaerobic fermentation, but you'd need an expert to explain those. If you search Google there seems to be plenty of information available on the subject.
