Advice/Guide

Hello,

Which sentence sounds more natural?

"Could you please guide me on the paperwork need to be done before submitting the report?"

"Could you please advice me on the paperwork need to be done before submitting the report?"

Thanks,

Guide works better in your text; in situations where some instructions are needed about how to do something. Advise ( advice ), on the other hand, is used when we give our viewpoints about how things would be better to be done.

. . . on the paperwork which needs to be done before submitting the report?

I seldom use "guide" in this kind of context. I would say this: "Could you please tell me what paperwork needs to be done before submitting the report?"
