Advice OR Advices?

Hi,

If I understand correctly ADVICE is a non-count noun and doesn't take the plural form.
Although this is the case, can I say:

I got a couple of advices?
(i.e. two)

(which makes it a count noun)

Thanks

Yes, that sounds less awkward.

I didn't notice that ShaNap meant exactly 'two' by 'couple'.

You understand it correctly. "Advice" never takes a plural form.

I agree

There's a rare occasion on which you receive more than one piece of information from your representative overseas. They are advices from your ambassador

Whoof! Now that's weird. And it should teach me never to say "never".
