Advertisements are becoming more and more common in everyday life. Is it a positive or negative development

Nowadays, commercial products play an essential role in our life. Therefore, advertising is becoming more necessary and swiftly developing. Many people think that development is positive; however, others think that those is negative

There is an opinion that advertising provides a number of advantages. I would probably say that for the most part, the one thing that really stands out is that advertising is a creative industry that employs many people. This is undoubtedly positive for the simple reason that people are increasingly adamant without advertising there would be higher unemployment. As well as this, a further favorable aspect would be that people enjoy adverts millions of people were glued to the television for advertising. This is surely a positive feature because the idea is that if you can make someone laugh with a witty advert, then they will be more likely to buy the products

However, the disadvantages of advertising should be also be take into consideration. The most impractical characteristic would be that consumerist societies create more waste. Most people would agree that this is problematic because they use more natural resources and cause damage to the environment. At the same time, another stumbling block might that the general public being bombarded with all kinds of advertisements. This is usually an aggravation because those can be either deceptive or annoying and such information overload has become a nuisance to many people, particularly when their favorite telecasts are constantly interrupted by irrelevant promotions

In conclusion, I think that any development will have its reason; and this is in my view, advantageous and detrimental as well
