Nowadays, advertisements has gained popularity that can be seen anywhere, on streets or in the media. This essay will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of this trend.
There are several convincing reasons why advertisements have became popular on a daily basis. First, since it can provide the diversity of occupation for many people, society may reduce the unemployment rate. In fact, advertising companies have a great deal of position, such as artists, painters or copywriters in designing and preparing logos, contents or ideas, which can give the unemployment these jobs, even assist their lives. Second, by making manifold kinds of advertisements, many people, especially kids or adolescents would be attracted with funny pictures or thought-provoking videos. This means that advertisements are often humorous and absorbing, which made public laugh and entertaining.
On the other hand, advertising could cause disadvantages for customers. People are always persuaded to follow the latest trend and buy unnecessary things. A good example could be the smart phone. Every year, people can be seen queuing to buy the latest models, even when those are having a perfectly great phone that does not need changing. Perhaps it is the influence of marketing that leads them to make this choice. In addition, since advertisements exert a great impact on children, it may more harm than good to development of kids. Obviously, some advertisements have loaded with inappropriate contents, which can cause serious mental and behavioral issues for youngsters
