Adverbs of Frequency

Hello English Forums:

You guys are the best!

But, the other day I embarrassed myself in class when I said that sometimes adverbs of frequency can be used at the end of a sentence. How bad is it if we use "often" or "sometimes" at the end of a sentence? hat about "occassionaly"?

Thanks so much for helping me and my students.

There are some adverbs of frequency that "cannot" be used at the end of sentences. Example I brush my teeth in the morning always. I eat breakfast at home never.

Example

I brush my teeth in the morning always.

I eat breakfast at home never.

I eat breakfast at home seldom.

However, others can be placed at the end of sentences.

I go to the club on 5th Street occasionally. (its ok)
