Hi,

Are the adverbs used correctly?

These clothes are hung above, and those clothes are hung below.

The clothes above are red, and the clothes below are yellow.

Can you help?

Hi,

I just teach my toddler what above and below mean, not specifically referring to a location.

For example, we have two clothes racks. One is higher and the other lower.

Some clothes are hung on the higher rack, and others on the lower rack.

Then the sentences appear:

These clothes are hung above, and those clothes are hung bel

Then yes, these are fine and usual, although I would expect the lower clothes to be nearer:

Those clothes are hung above, and these clothes are hung below.

The clothes above are red, and the clothes below are yellow.
