Adverbials

Hello,

1. I keep a spare bicycle in the garage.

2. I keep the bicycle in the garage well oiled.

In (1) , 'in the garage' functions as an adverbial while in (2) ?

Could any one explain the function of 'in the garage' in (2)?

Thanks.
