Adverb Placement: 'Available'

A. Is there a medium size available?
B. Is there an available medium size?

Are both sentences above correct?
If the the first sentence is correct, do you think the word 'available' functions as an adverb like in the second sentence where 'available' describes the adjective 'medium'?

I'm a bit hesitant about the first sentence because 'available' looks like an adjective describing the word 'size'. Please advise.

Thank you.

-- Yes, but only the first is normally used. -- No, I'd call it a post-modifying adjective. And it does not describe 'medium' in the 2nd; it describes 'medium size'.
