Adverb clauses

Is it true to say adverbial clauses are made of two clauses in which one of them is dependent and the other one is not? If so, can you explain these sentences?

We went out for a pizza.

This function on the air conditioner is for reducing humidity.

Despite all his money, he refused to bu a new car.

This is the house where I live in.( this is the house doesn't seem to convey a complete thought!)

I have put it where I can find it again.(I have put it has the same problem)

She earns more than her brother.(she earns more? complete idea?)

She is as beautiful as she is intelligent. (she is as beautiful!)

Jessica looks and sounds as if she has a cold.( Jessica looks and sounds....)

She is such a nice girl that she's got a lot of friends.( Is it even an adverb clause?)
