adverb

Dear members

Coins were first invented in the 7th century in Lydia.

Coins were first invented in Lydia in the 7th century.

I usually confused where I put adverbs when they are more than two ones like the sentences above.
I think the frist one would preferable because 'invented' is more related with time, the 7th century.
Am I right?

Alse pls give me some example sentences with adverbs and explain them why they put there in order.

Thanks in advance

I agree with CJ about the usual order. However, that sentence is acceptable if the speaker is attaching more importance to the time than to the place.

fivejedjonattaching more importance to the time than to the place.
The last position in a sentence (and the first) are usually said to be the places where information can be made to look more important, so I would have said the less usual order would stress the place more than the time.
