Regarding the uncontrolled increase in population, it is a contributory factor in serious lack of food even advancements are applied somewhere, especially in poor and remote areas. Every person needs a fixed amount of food (calorie) each day to maintain average strength and consciousness. If this amount is not supplied enough, our body get weaken and our mind get unconscious. In fact, food production is limited because of restriction of material, labor and money. Hence, government should control birth rate in order not to confront starvation. But in poor areas, government does not have enough budget to run that campaign. Thus, such starvation is often exacerbated with a new born baby.
In conclusion, advances in agriculture cannot ensure that all people around the world are prevented from starvation. This bad situation just can be mitigated by technology transfer and birth rate control.
