Advanced and progressive

Hi,everybody!
who can tell me which is correct Emotion: sad1) or(2)? what distinction is between them?

(!)I learned some advanced English words from my foreigner friends

(2)I learned some progressive English words from my foreigner friends

"Advanced English" usually means 'high level English' compared with introductory or intermediate level of English But I doubt there is a separate, understandable term as “progressive English”.
