What sentences are correct? What is the rule?

1.I’ll try to call you again soon.
2.I’ll try to call you soon again.

Why isn't (2) correct?

I'd use soon/later either at the beginning of a sentence or in the end..

You'll become a chef soon. / Soon, you'll become a chef.

He gave me a buzz later. / Later, he gave me a buzz.

I am not quite sure if they are OK or why so, though.
