Letter Writing
Adressing in business Email
Hello all,
I applied for an internship position in the USA. After two weeks I received an email which looked like
"Christoph
I wanted to let you know that I received a copy of your CV from ....
.....
Happy New Year!
Mike Miller"
I am not sure how to write back especiallay how to adress Mike Miller. I apply for an internship position and he is an executive (senior director) so I do not feel good with adressing him with "Mike".
Would "Dear Mr. Miller" be okay? Or do I have to write "Dear Mike" or just "Mike"?

auf meine Bewerbung in den USA um ein Praktikum habe ich eine Rückmeldung per Email in folgender Form erhalten:

Also ohnem so etwas wie "Dear ..." und "best regards".
Jetzt bin ich mir ziemlich unsicher in welcher Form ich zurückschreiben soll. Schließlich bin ich der Praktikant und der Absender ist in leitender Position (Senior Director).
Ist "Dear Mr. Miller" okay? Oder sollte es dann besser "Dear Mike" sein?
