John told her that he wanted to go away and wanted only to live somewhere, with the girl he adorned.

Is the above sentence correct?

Are you sure the verb should have been adorned but not adored ? I'd say like this: John told her that he wanted to go away and just (to) live somewhere with the girl he adored.

Are you sure the verb should have been adorned but not adored?

I'd say like this:

John told her that he wanted to go away and just (to) live somewhere with the girl he adored.
