Admit into/virtual

Hello

Because most physicists are opposed to admiting faster-than-light processes into physics, Aspect's experiment is generally viewed as virtual proof that the connection between the two photons in nonlocal.

Does it mean most physics don't agree that there may exist a process which is faster than light?

I take it to mean that the word virtual means here "factual" or "real" proof?
