Admit in or on

I am confused which preposition shall I use, the scenario is that our school is handing out the admission form for our school and It has to be mentioned in the form that the candidate must get enrolled within 7 days from the date of form receiving.
So we write in the form.

Admit in nursery within 10th dec.

Admission in nursery on 10th dec.

I don't exactly understand what you are trying to convey. Do you expect the form to be received by 3rd December, so that the 7-day deadline is 10th December? It will be clearer if you write a complete sentence.

  • " Either "admit" or "admission" could work here, although -- again -- it would be helpful to write a full sentence.

I hope the following tips are helpful:

When "within" is used for time, it is used with a period (7 days, 30 second, 10 years, etc.), and not with a date or time (10th

Liton DasSo we write in the form.
Admit in nursery within 10th dec.
Admission in nursery on 10th dec.

This doesn't make proper sense, and does not convey the meaning that you describe. It could be that in fact you mean this:

You must return this form by 10th December.
