Admission on/ Admissions begin

Hi

How would the use of "Admissions On" or "Admissions Begin" (on the leaflet of some school) sound to native speakers?

Isn't "Admissions are Open" the best option?

MM, it’s VERY common in my country for schools to write “Admissions are Open” in a season when the school is actually giving admissions. Most schools have their own academic year– some start classes in August and end in May; others start in March and end in January. Ah, that's what I needed to know. 'Giving admissions' is not a phrase that means anything to me; a school 'accepts applications for admission'. But if your phrases are meaningful to you, then I see no particularly better one among them:
