administer/lead/be in charge

Hello,
I just came across the following sentence: "The foundation was specifically founded to administer the project". Can also say:
- The organization was specifically founded to lead/run the project.
- The organization was specifically founded to be in charge of the project.

I just came across the following sentence: "The foundation was specifically founded to administer the project".

The repetition of foundation/founded will sound a bit silly to most native speakers. Better is eg foundation/set up.

Note also that the term 'foundation' normally refers to a permanent insti

I am not the author, so I don't have the right to change the sentence. I was more worried about my other three choices, Clive. "Run, lead and to be in control". I am glad they sound fine.

I usually avoid repetition, so yes, it does sound somewhat silly. When it comes to organizations, companies, etc coming into existence, don't all the verbs listed above mean the same thing? If we set up
