Adjectives needed with jeans

Hi

Is there any term for the jeans that are ripped (or have holes) at the knees?

I searched Google and found these. Are all of these natural to native ears?

Tattered jeans
Ripped jeans
Bruised jeans

Thanks,

Tom

That's if they come from the factory that way.

If they are that way due to being worn during hard labor, then they are worn-out (patched) jeans. They come by their wounds honestly.

Distressed jeans may be fashionable, but I think they are rather dishonest and ignoble.

Not really. You only have to look at the wearer!
