Hi,

Can we use a what seems to be an parenthetical expression before or between adjectives that precedes a noun?

back-breaking and grueling, yet very rewarding, journeys to destinations not so definite.

back-breaking, but not so physically annihilating, and grueling journeys to destinations not so definite.
