Adjectives and verbs?

I've learned that the phrase "deep-seated beliefs" is a frequently used expression. If I want to use "ideas" instead of "beliefs," do you think the following expressions are valid?

1) the ideas which are still deeply rooted in my mind

2) the ideas which are still firmly rooted in my mind
