Adjectives after the noun

Why do we say - I need to organise my time better i.e the adjective comes after the noun when usually it comes before.

Top answer

e the adjective comes after the noun 'Better' is not an adjective there; it is an adverb modifying 'organise'. If you are not afraid to split an infinitive, you can write the sentence this way, too: I need to better organize my time.
